October Favourites

Can you believe October is over already? Honestly, as we're nearing into the Christmas season the days are just flying by! October is hands down one of my favourite months, I just love how it's officially the change of season from summer to autumn as the leaves turn golden brown and there's nothing better than a good pumpkin spiced latte to brighten a dull Monday morning. And so without further adieu, here is everything I have been loving in October.

Beauty
Firstly, I can't believe I have only just got onto the bandwagon with this but the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer has been my holy grail lately and is definitely worth the hype it receives. It brightens under the eye area so well, with the added touch of a soft and creamy formula; it's perfect. I'm actually starting to prefer it to my MAC Pro-longwear and that's saying something, it's definitely the perfect dupe. The doe foot applicator also makes this product a dream to apply. The only negative thing I can say is that it does crease under my eyes if I don't set it straight away but to be fair, all concealers do with me anyway unfortunately.

Strangely enough... I've been really loving MAC Creme D'Nude this past month, even though it's a very pale nude it is so pretty when paired with Topshop Glow Cream in 'Polished' due to the pink undertones featured in both the lipstick and highlight. Mixing this with Benefit High Beam further accentuates the pink tones which I have been in love with lately. I'm usually into my deep plum and berry shades during this time of year but a pink ish nude can be so flattering with a dark smoky eye. MAC Naked Liner is also the perfect match for Creme D'Nude, as we all know the issues of looking like we have foundation lips with a pale nude lipstick can be a bit of a dilemma but this lip liner makes my lips appear fuller and blends in seamlessly with the lipstick shade.

A bit of an oldie and a general all round favourite of mine but I've also been loving Benefit Hoola bronzer this past month, now the summer is over you've certainly got to fake it till you make it and I'm always all for a strong contour.

Fall Favourites
With it being October, of course I had to get into the fall spirit this month. Therefore I thought I'd share with you all everything seasonal I've been loving throughout October. Tartan has always been a trend favourite of mine during the autumn and so my Primark tartan scarf has been worn like crazy this past month, it just matches everything and adds a cosy, autumnal texture to any outfit. This also looks particularly pretty with a bold, berry lip.

Super basic I know but of course my favourite drink is yep, you guessed it... the Starbucks pumpkin spiced latte, I first tried this two years ago and each season it is just my ultimate go to. Paired with the pecan chocolate brownie and I become instantly living on cloud nine, not too sweet nor too heavy. The drink also not too overpowering in spice, simply just the perfect balance. If you've tried it, then you'll just know. PS.. Did any of you try the Vampire Frappuccino too?! Now that was too die for. Ignore the pun ;)

Besides Creme D'Nude, MAC Diva is my ultimate go to lip for the fall, it's such a beautiful deep burgundy with purple undertones which compliments pretty much any eye colour. If you've read my previous post then you'll see how I paired this with a pop of pink on the eye. If you're looking for a dupe then the Topshop lip bullet in 'Wine Gum' is perfect for those of you on a budget. And then of course what would fall be without an array of sweet smelling candles?! Throughout October I have been in love with anything pumpkin spice or cinnamon flavoured, my personal favourite 'Halloween' definitely got me in the seasonal mood, although I'm unsure of the brand as my mum picked it up from Quality Save. If you're looking for decently sized candles with a range of stunning scents then I would definitely recommend heading into quality save, some are actually under £1!!

And that is everything that I have been loving in October, I hope that you enjoyed this post lovelies. Let me know what you have been loving lately in the comments below, until next time..
