2015 Highlights | 2016 Resolutions

And so the time has finally come for 2015 to reach an end. There has been ups and of course, there has been downs. In today's post I'll be sharing with you my highlights for the year and setting myself a few goals for 2016. I'm actually quite excited for the new year, I find it such a refreshing feeling to be given a new start. And I know everyone always says this but I truly am determined to make 2016 my best year yet, I feel as though it's finally time that I began to find my feet.

Highlights
  • Designing my own product - The ladies over at Prairie Charms have truly given me such an amazing opportunity here and I cannot wait for you all to see the final design in the new year.
  • Receiving a care package from NARS cosmetics - I still can't believe they actually noticed MY Instagram!!
  • Clarke Couture's 1st birthday - There has been ups and downs but I truly am so glad I never quit blogging. I also purchased my own blog domain this year which was one of my goals for 2015; to make my blog feel more like my own, I'm so excited to see how much Clarke Couture will grow in 2016. Also, a big congratulations to Alice Spake who won my first blog giveaway!!
  • Passing my A-Levels and beginning university - I'm finally a fashion student! I'm studying International Fashion Promotion and I'm so excited to be taking my journey into becoming a fashion and beauty journalist that one step further.
  • Family holiday - Each year since being a baby me and my family always go to Wales during the summer. It may not be the Bahamas but it truly holds a special place in my heart and I'm thankful for the memories we make together as a family each year.
  • Friends With Benefit - I recently applied to become a Benefit Cosmetics VIP and I was accepted, ahh!! I'm so excited to finally have the opportunity to start working more closely with my favourite brand.
